Mission
Not a typical editorial company...
My entire career has been focused on books. I started out in book-making production, moved into editorial, and eventually became an author. Be/Wilder Writer was born from my life as an author and editor and my passion for exploring nature and creativity. Our relationship with these two entities directly ties to the state of our interior lives, how happy we are, and where we search for meaning.
Be/Wilder Writer offers editorial and book publishing services. But it offers much more. Spiritual direction, writing workshops, and presentations allow us to engage in a conversation on the more mysterious parts of our creativity and humanity, which might eventually become a book or some other unique creation sent out into the world.
The interior parts of ourselves--thoughts, feelings, and imagination--are where our stories percolate. They flow out of us, and when harnessed and directed, can increase a deeper sense of communion with our Creator and each other.
We all have a wilderness inside of us that's waiting to be explored. This is the playground of our creativity.
